We will provide a broad education for your child based on the Early Years Foundation Stage profile. We have a strong emphasis on the personal and social development of your child and pride ourselves in helping the children to grow into very sociable and confident people.

 

Our sessions place a strong emphasis on learning, and we provide very many opportunities for our children to learn through play at their own speed.

 

Records of your child’s learning are held and are available for you to look at at any time.

Pre-school Topics

Each half term we have a ‘Theme’ which is broken down into weekly topics.

 

We welcome involvement with our topics with relevant visitors such as ‘People who help Us’ visits from Police, Nurse, Firefighters.

 

Other themes can include books, animals, alphabet, colours & shapes …….

Key Person

Our setting uses a key person approach. This means that each member of staff has a group of children for whom they are particularly responsible.

 

Your child’s key person will be the person who works with you to make sure what we provide is right for your child’s particular needs and interests.

 

They will help your child to settle and benefit from all activities.
